Compose an Email by Searching

Picture_3_4 Have you ever opened up a new tab while composing a mail just to do quick search? Now you can do this directly in Gmail using Xoopit's Compose Quick Search feature.

Using the power of Google you can now add a variety of interesting content directly from searches to your mail. Let's walk through an example.

I recently wrote to a potential recruit about coming to Xoopit for one of our awesome home cooked lunches. First, I searched for Xoopit and clicked the Maps tab. With a single click, I added a map of our address and link to driving directions. Clicking on the Video tab got me the recent PopSiren feature on Xoopit. Boom! Video added. (Somehow channeled Steve Jobs, sorry). Then I recalled a recent blog post in Network World. Typed in "xoopit networkworld" and added it to the email.

Finally as a P.S., I knew the recruit was a photo buff. I wanted to get his opinion on the new Canon 50D. One quick search and a link to Amazon was added.

Thanks to Xoopit's Compose Quick Search feature, I was able to write an email with almost zero typing. Let us know how you use Compose Quick Search and send us feedback!
